Heartland Label Printers orders second ETI Cohesio in-line p-s substrate converting system

Little Chute, WI-based Heartland Label Printers has purchased a second Cohesio machine from ETI Converting Equipment of Canada to support the continued growth of its pressure-sensitive label business. The acquisition of a second ETI Cohesio machine increases Heartland’s overall capacity and enhances its ability to develop new products and provide better solutions for customers. The Cohesio Heartland installed in 2003 now runs 7 days per week.

This new 22-in.-wide machine will be on display at Labelexpo America 2018 in Chicago later this year and then installed in Heartland’s Wisconsin facility following the exhibition. The machine is equipped with flexographic-printing stations, adhesive- and silicone-coating stations, as well as ETI’s patented Pellicut diecutting technology. This unit die-cuts on very thin liner materials without marking. The Cohesio machine design is also capable of producing linerless label products.

Heartland Label Printers was founded in 1990 and produces a wide variety of direct thermal, thermal transfer and specialty labels, focusing heavily on the logistic and grocery industries. Heartland is also growing in medical, food and other market spaces as they continue to invest in new capabilities and advanced technology. The ETI patented technology supports Heartland’s objectives in these growing markets.
