Ltd., a contract manufacturer of food products, has invested in a Brotech DL 430 finishing  machine, complete with semi-rotary die-cutting unit and a conveyor. The equipment is suitable for offline finishing of IML and other varieties of labels. The equipment will be able to support its endeavors for catering to multiple customers for short runs.

A forward-thinking enterprise, MB Industries has integrated backward into flexible-packaging manufacturing by setting up UvBiz as a division and invested in coating, laminating, printing and converting capabilities to be able to support the short- and long-term packaging needs of wide range of customers. They also have invested and set up their own prepress and platemaking department.

UvBiz MD Rohit Badlani says, “We understand that in the evolving marketing scenario across a large country like India, where with geographical changes the language, lifestyles and festivals change, marketing professionals try to cater to the region specific and opportune time packaging, short runs in packaging has become a necessity. Brotech is an equipment we shortlisted to enhance our short run delivery process. It will also add to our capability to cater to new smaller customers cost effectively and handling a large number of job changes each day.”

The sale was handled by Weldon Celloplast Ltd., New Delhi, established in 1982, providers of total label-manufacturing solutions with exclusive representation of leading international equipment brands as principals.
